Maine Clean Elections lets candidates run on small, equal contributions from the voters they'd represent, instead of corporate PACs and big donors. To qualify for public funding, I need $5 qualifying contributions from registered voters right here in District 140. Once I qualify, I run on public funds and take no corporate or special-interest money. It doesn't get more local than that.

Your $5 goes a long way. For every 15 qualifying contributions I collect, the state provides $1,650 in campaign funds. Five dollars from you helps unlock real support for a people-powered race.
How to give

Two easy ways

  1. Give $5 online

    Head to Maine's Clean Elections online portal and make your $5 contribution to Kirstan Watson (House District 140). You'll be matched against the voter file to confirm you're registered. That's what makes it count.

  2. Or write a $5 check

    Make a $5 check or money order payable to the Maine Clean Election Fund and mail it to the campaign with a signed Receipt & Acknowledgment form. Reach out and we'll get one to you.

You must be a registered Maine voter in District 140 (Arundel, Dayton & eastern Lyman) for a $5 gift to count as a qualifying contribution. Not sure? Register to vote.
